Two dozen icons starring Audrey Hepburn (with one guest appearance by Anthony Perkins).
( My Fair Lady )
Going into real-life matters for a moment... many of you may not be aware that I also have a more tangible artistic pursuit. :) I create handmade beaded jewelry, and I'm pleased to say that my work is now being marketed at Etoile Boutique here in Orlando. (Unfortunately there are no images of my work on the website at this time, but I'll gladly show scans to anyone who would like to see my creations. They can be purchased from me directly.)

Red...Todd/Lovett fanfiction
Title: Red
Author: Hannahharriet
Rating: r
Rating: r
Pairing: Todd/Lovett
Summary: He’d broken, really, and he knew it as soon as he set eyes on her.
Disclaimer: As always, I don’t own these amazing characters or the world of Sweeney Todd. All of that belongs to Sondheim and Burton.

Author’s Note: Wow, I’m beginning to scare myself with the whole dark thing I’ve got going on nowadays. I’m beginning to think that I need to encompass myself in black. Ah, I love Gothic writing. (Side note: I wrote this one-shot while listening to, strangely enough, Bach’s Organ Preludes and Fugues. If anyone is interested, try Prelude and Fugue in F minor ( bwv 534). It’s got a pretty good Gothic tone to it.)

The Quiz
Tonight I went to see a new play The Quiz by Richard Crane at The Mill which is an intimate little five row studio next to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford.
A one act, one man play lasting about 70 minutes it starred David Bradley (Argus Filch from the Harry Potter films)

It's the story of an actor who has spent twenty years playing Dostoyevsky's Grand Inquisitor. He wanders on to stage more than a little worse for wear from "a glass of sherry" lights the candles on the sparse set and tells us that his prompt/assistant and general dogsbody has left him and he must act alone. In between acting out the Inquisitor and forgetting his lines he regales us of his life family and desire to die on stage like Kean, Irving and...Tommy Cooper.
A wonderful, funny performance by Bradley who often reminded me of the late great Leonard Rossiter mixed in with a bit of Albert Steptoe!

I posted my best story on foodwatch
I don't have enough time to have two good posts in me in one day. Go read the other one, if you haven't already. I wish I had more time, for just about everything. I need more time for
reading
exercise
shopping
talking on the internets
watching movies
talking with my family
playing with the cats
sex
music
day trips
Hmmmm, this work thing is seriously getting in the way of my life.

Would you like to see GSM completed by 14 February 2009?
I've made what will be my final offer at
livelongnmarry: a completion date of 14 February 2009 for Getting Severus Married.
Bidding begins at $50.
Upon completion of GSM, I will write the winning bidder an expanded scene from GSM, or a short fic based on some part of GSM that he or she would have liked to have seen explored. The expanded scene or short fic will be at least 1000 words and will be delivered by 15 March 2009.
If the winning bid is $150 or more, I will post the chapters to my journals as I complete them.
I'm making this offer because several people were saddened or irritated that my first offer to write HP fanfic excluded any fic based on what I've written or am currently writing, particularly with regard to GSM. I can't imagine that anyone will actually bid on a completion date for GSM, but I figured that it was worth a shot to make the offer, given how strongly I support marriage equality.
My offers to support marriage equality through the
livelongnmarry charitable auction include: a fic you design, the tailoring of my August and October Daily Deviant fics, and a completion date for GSM (with related offers).
My goal? Getting everyone1 married!
1Everyone who wishes to be, of course—I'm not one to push heteronormative standards on anyone, you know. *covers arse*

A Sleepy Afternoon
OK, first the meme, 'cause I adore this one:
Your Debut Album
1 - Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Ra ndom
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to Random quotations: http://www.quotationspage.com/random.ph p3
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
If you want to do this again, you'll hit refresh to generate new quotes, because clicking the quotes link again will just give you the same quotes over and over again.
3 - Go to flickr's "explore the last seven days" http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesti ng/7days/
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
Put it all together, that's your debut album.

And our debut album is "No Sorrow to Die" by Spanish General Election
And also:
Nelson and I are planning to watch the fireworks from the field, 'cause he's never seen them before and we're bringing someone else who also hasn't seen them before. She's cool I promise. Y'all should join us. ^_^
We'll be there by 7 -- obviously anyone who wants to stake out a spot prior to that is quite appreciated, but we'll be aggressive if needbe if no one wants to throw down a blanket. I'm excited. (Just wish I didn't have to work)
Possibly more updateage to come.

Word Count: (100)

Characters: Hermione/Severus
Authors Notes: I figured if I'm going to meet you guys at Portus that I should probably offer at least one drabble. **iz sheepish**

Ebony eyes narrowed as the bell over the shop door jingled. He recognized her immediately; the years had not tamed her rebellious locks nor had they dimmed the light in her eyes which sparkled whenever she discovered yet another source for quenching her insatiable thirst for knowledge.
He ducked behind the curtain, reluctant to risk detection. Coward, he thought, even as he contemplated a Disillusionment charm. To his relief, his clerk pressed forward, eager to assist the witch.
Snape’s reprieve was short-lived. Panic constricted his chest when she smiled sardonically and stated, “It’s imperative I speak with … the proprietor.”
